MEET ABBIE

As a growing agency, we have new faces in the office every once in a while. Today we’re introducing our newest Account Executive, Abbie Schindo.

Propel: Welcome, Abbie! In case you haven’t noticed, we’re pretty tight knit (and nosey) here in the office — so we have a few questions for you. Can you tell us a little about yourself first?

Abbie: Sure! I was born and raised in Raleigh and I’m an ECU graduate. I’m also a lifelong Wolfpack fan!

P: We have a lot of Wolfpack fans in the office (but not all, so be careful). Now for the most important question: what is your favorite food?

A: Tacos!

P: Great answer, tacos being your favorite food needs no explanation. Now since you’re joining our content team, what do you think about the Oxford comma?

A: Not a fan of the Oxford comma! Not sure why it was ever created.

P: Interesting — guess we’ll have to be a house divided on this one. Moving on, what is your favorite TV show?

A: This changes a lot! But my constant favorites are Schitt’s Creek and Game of Thrones (unpopular opinion: season 8 was perfect). My new favorite show right now is The Politician.

P: And your favorite movie?

A: My favorite movie is Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. My dad showed it to me when I was about 12 and it’s been our favorite ever since.

P: Love it. Do you have any pet peeves?

A: My biggest pet peeve is people who stop at the bottom or top of escalators to look around and see which way they need to go when there are other people behind them on the escalator. Very specific, but definitely my biggest pet peeve.

P: Okay, we’ll be sure not to stop in front of you next time we’re on an escalator. Where’s one place you’d love to travel to if you could leave right now?

A: I would love to travel to Switzerland. It looks like such a calm, happy place with the rolling green hills and mountains.

P: Take us with you! What’s one thing you could not live without?

A: I could not live without my dog, Gilly (see answer to my favorite TV show to understand how she got her name).

P: You’ll have to bring her into the office one day — we won’t tell the boss. Now for the last question: At Propel, we like to say we’re a superpower for our clients. What’s your super power?

A: My superpower would be the ability to teleport so I can travel all over the world faster.
